We’re hiring a CNC lathe operator for our 2nd shift. You’ll be responsible for running production parts on twin-spindle and Swiss-type lathes, keeping machines running smoothly, and maintaining part quality.
This is a steady, full-time position on a four 10-hour day schedule with long weekends.
What You’ll Do
Load and run twin-spindle and Swiss-type CNC lathes according to setup sheets and job instructions
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Monitor tool wear and make minor offset adjustments when needed
Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
Accurately record part counts and inspection results
Communicate issues or quality concerns to the lead machinist or setup tech
What You Bring
1–3 years of CNC lathe operating experience (twin-spindle or Swiss preferred)
Ability to read basic blueprints and understand part tolerances
Familiarity with common inspection tools and basic machine offsets
Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented work habits
Experience with Fanuc or Citizen controls a plus
Schedule and Pay
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts)
Pay: Based on experience and capability
Overtime available as needed
