Rainbow Restoration of West Michigan is seeking a
Mitigation Field Supervisor
to lead and support our field crews in performing emergency mitigation, water, fire, and mold restoration work. We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and hands‑on leader who can manage projects, assist in field work, and ensure our high standards of service and quality are upheld every day.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead mitigation crews on job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Actively assist with
project work in the field
when needed — this is a hands‑on leadership role.
Perform inspections, moisture mapping, and documentation using iCat and MICA/Dash systems.
Coordinate schedules, equipment, and manpower for multiple ongoing projects.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and management regarding project status.
Ensure all mitigation work complies with IICRC S500 standards and company protocols.
Train and mentor technicians to achieve company performance and safety goals.
Complete daily job documentation, photos, and work authorizations accurately and on time.
Be available for emergency calls and after‑hours response as part of the on‑call rotation.
Schedule
Full‑time
Start time: 7:30 AM – end time varies based on workload
During busy seasons, 60–70 hour work weeks can be expected
Participation in on‑call rotation for emergency response required
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation required.
IICRC WRT certification (required); ASD, AMRT, or other certifications preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to lead by example and assist in hands‑on field production work.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments.
Must be able to pass a background check.
