is looking for a dynamic
Activity Aide
to work with a variety of patients! If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you!
The Activity Aide is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for an assigned program, which involves implementing treatment goals and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Director of the Activity Therapy Department.
Shift:
Full‑Time 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location:
Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, Idaho. The hospital is a 151‑bed facility on 10 acres near the foothills of Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains.
Intermountain Hospital provides quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services, offering evidence‑based treatment and compassionate care through specialty programs that are tailored to meet each patient’s needs. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate mental health and substance use treatment.
Qualifications
Education:
High School graduate required, some college preferred.
Experience:
One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Licensure:
First Aid/CPR (training provided).
Additional Requirements:
Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention training prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 90 days of employment (training provided).
