We are seeking
Seasonal Administrative Assistants
to add to the team at our Cedar Rapids location. This seasonal position starts in January 2026 and ends in April 2026 and requires 20+ hrs a week. We are looking for someone with strong computer, communication and organizational skills.
The Administrative Assistant is our key customer service provider for clients, answering the phone and greeting walk in clients. This position scans client documents for tax preparation, assists in tax return assembly, facilitates correspondence, and is a key role in the transfer of information between clients and staff. The position manages the scanning and filing of documents, handles incoming and outgoing mail, and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
Assembly of individual and corporate income tax returns
Work with the preparation of memorandums and all other correspondence from the draft stage to final completion
Acts as liaison between the colleagues and clients to facilitate work and accomplish objectives in a collaborative effort
Schedule appointments, confirm changes or delays, and make necessary changes
Answer phones and assist walk-in customers
Prepare /open/distribute mail and UPS packages
Receive and scan various confidential documents and facilitate work‑flow in company systems
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work as a team to problem solve
Skilled at time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of experience in administrative work preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
