The Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 hourly DOE
Shifts Available: 2nd or 3rd

Responsibilities:
Adherence to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
Reporting all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
Completing make‑ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
Completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Completing all press‑side quality checks.
Operating press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
Maintaining consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion. Ensuring conformance to all other quality checks.
Completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
Completing press make‑ready's in an efficient manner.
Completing all required equipment maintenance duties.
Cleansing plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricating press as needed.
Inputting all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training is a plus (not required).
Physical demands: standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
Frequent walking.
Occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
Capability to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
