Our work is guided by our core CHRIST values: Creative Honorable Respectful Innovative Synergistic Total Ownership Position Summary Diesel Mechanic at CMC, you’ll maintain and repair diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment used across our job sites. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and compliant, playing a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Conduct DOT inspections and ensure fleet compliance Maintain clear and accurate service and repair records Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate vehicle readiness Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic (construction fleet preferred) Working knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems CDL and/or ASE certifications preferred but not required Ability to read manuals and interpret schematics Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Strong problem-solving and communication skills Our Values in Action Thinks Creatively to troubleshoot and improve Acts with Honor and integrity Treats everyone with Respect Seeks out Innovation in tools and techniques Works Synergistically with the team Takes Total Ownership of their work and results Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training & growth opportunities A supportive, values-driven team culture Creative Modular Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
