Assist with construction site cleanup and general labor tasks as directed. Support skilled tradespeople by performing basic tasks on site. Maintain a safe and organized work area and comply with safety rules. What does a laborer do?
General laborer duties vary depending on the setting and specialization. They usually work in construction where they help erect scaffolding, clean up sites and assist specialized workers such as painters, carpenters and electricians. Qualifications
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, etc.). Good hand-eye coordination. Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
