Surety Underwriter Trainee
FCCI Insurance Group is seeking a
Surety Underwriter Trainee
to learn to generate profitable growth of our surety lines of business, including production, underwriting, sales, and service.
The selected candidate will assist other underwriters and learn to develop and maintain positive agency relationships. The role is remote from the Keene, NH area for up to 18 months during the training period.

The salary range for this position is $24.80–$38.19 hourly, based on education, experience, skills, and abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field; relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis.
Two years of entry‑level experience in the financial field.
Ability to analyze financial information, credit reports, contracts, and underlying bond obligations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze, define, and solve problems using good judgment and decision‑making.
Ability to determine customer needs, provide solutions and price business appropriately.
Agree to actively pursue AFSB designation.
