Join our team as an Underwriting Manager, where you’ll lead and develop a high-performing underwriting team, set performance goals, provide training, and make final credit decisions. You’ll analyse complex financial data to assess merchant risk, structure funding offers, and collaborate closely with sales in a fast-paced fintech environment. Based in either Utah or Virginia, this role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities, deep underwriting expertise, and hands-on experience in merchant cash advance underwriting. We were named one of Inc. 500’s fastest growing private companies in and are looking for an experienced Merchant Cash Advance Manager of Underwriting to join our Merchant Cash Advance Underwriting Team. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of underwriters, setting performance goals and providing ongoing training and support. Review Underwriter and Senior Underwriter deal approval recommendations and make final credit decisions Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine the credit worthiness of a merchant Perform risk-based underwriting reviews of applications which includes the analysis of credit reports, bank statements, and various other business documentation in order to determine a merchant's credibility Price and structure funding offers Interact with internal sales team Conduct underwriting interviews with perspective merchants Qualifications:

1+ years experience managing a team 3+ years in underwriting role at merchant cash advance provider 5+ years small business funding underwriting experience in total Existing approval authority of at least $150,000 Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk based on financial and credit data Deep understanding of MCA funding models, stacking risks, and small business cash flow Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills Unlimited PTO Job Type: Full-time, in person in Virginia or in Utah
