HARDSCAPES DRAFTSMAN DUTIES INCLUDE
Following specifications and plans to create various shop drawings (i.e. Layout Coordination Drawings, Hardscape Joint Layout Plans, Hardscape Forming Layout Plans, etc.).
Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
Communicating with Project Managers and Estimators.
Assisting in identifying, designing, and estimating hardscape projects (flatwork/ hardscape/ underground/ structural concrete construction) for existing commercial/ governmental clients as well as new clients.
Establish a relationship with vendors, architects, engineers, and industry-related firms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Degree (or another 2-year degree) / Some College Courses.
Minimum two (2) years of computer aided design and drafting (CADD). Mark. but a plus.
Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
Prospective candidates should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, an interest in the construction process, and be willing to take on different challenges.
Field experience a plus, but not required.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
