Role Overview As a Caulker for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. The position requires a variety of tasks that aid in the completion and success of a project and support team members.

Responsibilities

Perform joint sealants and caulking, firestopping penetrations and joint systems, needle glazing and structural caulking, architectural and traffic expansion joints.

Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds.

Assist other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance.

Use hand tools and small power tools.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with caulk removal, joint sealants, parking decks, silicones, and urethanes.

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Must possess the following tools: caulk guns, tube and sausage gun, tooling knives, safety harness, and caulk cutting knife.

Travel Some travel is required. The employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. Travel and overnight stay, if applicable, will be compensated with a per diem.

Technology Some technology use may be required. If so, the employee will receive proper training.

Work Environment Work environments may include seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.

Following Instructions Adhere to instructions from superintendents, project managers, and construction plans and blueprints.

Cleanliness Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area.

Safety Compliance Follow all RAM health and safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.

Physical Demands Frequency of physical demands:

Rarely (less than 10%)

Occasionally (up to 33%)

Frequently (up to 66%)

Continuously (67% to 100%)

Key activities and capacities:

Standing, walking, reading, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and depth perception.

Lifting 60+ lbs, carrying, gripping, pushing, pulling, and climbing.

Manual dexterity, speaking clearly, and body twisting.

Climbing ladders and truck access.
