NOTE: THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN CENTRAL INDIANA. A PER DIEM IS PROVIDED FOR TRAVEL.
Low Voltage Systems Electrician installs, diagnoses problems, and performs service repairs on card access, security camera systems, and other related building system products at customer sites.
Scope of Work
Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to repair equipment.
Service, troubleshoot, and install card access, security camera systems, and other related systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational manuals.
Exhibit effective customer service skills by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
Complete Service Acknowledgements on company software via smartphones and laptops.
Obtain customer signatures upon completed service calls.
Be available for on-call emergency service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Knowledge of test equipment, multimeters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts up to 40 feet.
Work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
Demonstrate high levels of customer service.
Maintain truck inventory for timely responses.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures diligently.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learner.
Perform physical labor, including carrying equipment/tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a suitable driving record.
Qualifications
Education: 2-year degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming card access and CCTV systems.
