Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Denver, CO office as a drafter.
Responsibilities Work includes drawings of general arrangements, structures, facilities, site plans, facility layouts, electrical schematics, wiring and connection requirements. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing drafting work manually or by using a computer requiring knowledge and skills in drafting methods, procedures and techniques.
Using a recognized system of symbols, legends, shadings, lines and layering in accordance with ECI Drafting Standards.
Preparing as‑built drawings from red‑line copies.
Preparing error‑free revisions of preexisting CADD files.
Performing a variety of assignments which may include drawing reproduction, handling material supplies and other similar work.
Minimum Requirements
College degree in an acceptable curriculum or a two‑year technical certificate in computer‑aided drafting/design, or a minimum of two years of experience in the computer‑aided drafting/design field.
Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation/Bentley Connect is a plus.
Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent level of interpersonal skills, and ability to work individually and on a team.
Detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills.
Proven ability to work with confidential information and exercise independent judgment.
Occasional travel/driving may be required.
Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.

Compensation $23 – $34 per hour.
