Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, communicative, and detail-oriented individual to join our Landlord/Product Leasing team as an Entry-Level Associate Broker. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a career in commercial real estate. The Associate Broker will support senior brokers in leasing, market research, and client relations across a diverse portfolio of properties. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the leasing of retail properties, including prospecting (cold calls/emails), creating void analysis and merchandising mixes, creating and updating property-related marketing materials, negotiating deals, and reporting to and meeting with clients Driving markets to gain an understanding of the trade area and updating information on competing properties in the market. Preparing and updating marketing materials, including flyers, eblasts, and property signage Gathering and coordinating materials necessary to prepare books for client meetings Coordinating on-site showings with prospective tenants, updating and sending leasing activity reports prior to client calls Preparing recommendations for LOI and lease negotiations Working alongside leasing, management, and accounting team members to prepare annual budgets for managed properties Communicating and following up with team members, property managers, accountants, and legal team to ensure smooth transactions Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance/Marketing and/or Real Estate concentration preferred) Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois, or ability to receive within ninety (90) days of hire date Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and the ability to learn other company software, as needed Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize projects; work successfully within set time frames and effectively manage time and workload Strong work ethic Ability to network and develop positive relationships Compensation includes base salary plus commission Full benefit packing, including health, dental, and vision care
