Hanover Township is hiring a LINE COOK!
Under the supervision of the Aging Services Nutrition Manager, the LINE COOK
is responsible for providing direct assistance for daily operations of the Nutrition Program. Assists with the preparation and serving of meals to older adult residents of Hanover Township that meet required nutritional guidelines. The LINE COOK aids in ensuring meal quality, freshness, and safety. Performs other duties as required for the successful operation of the Department of Aging Services Nutrition Division. The part-time, non-exempt position pays $18.50 - $19.50 per hour, 27.5 hours per week. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Education, Experience, and Computer Skills: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent. One year of experience in food services related work highly preferred. Must have or be willing to obtain Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate within thirty days of hire. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Willingness to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license needed.
