Save Job

Volunteers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays assist with the in-market shopping experience as shopping ambassadors, unloading distribution trucks, stocking shelves and bagging customer items Thank you again for your interest in us! Empowering the Masses is a Christian, faith-based organization that aims to use our model of Education + Advocacy = Empowerment in order to provide the resources that allow communities to be self-sustaining. We are currently accepting volunteers for our community market and drive-thru food pantry located at 3220 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX 75223 . Our operations primarily run on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and we have outlined the volunteer activities and timings below, please plan to stay for the entire duration of whichever shift you choose. What to Wear:

Please dress comfortably and wear closed‑toed shoes (non‑slip if possible). Please dress for the weather and cooler temperatures. There isn't any room for personal items, so please pack sparingly. For the safety of the staff and volunteers, bags will not be allowed inside and should be left in volunteers’ cars. The inside of the market is on the colder side and volunteers may work in the fridge, please bring a jacket. Embracing a Positive Attitude for Success:

Our success relies not only on our expertise but also on our willingness to adapt and support each other. We are all a team, and we speak to each other with love, kindness, and compassion. Parking:

Please aim to arrive at the start of your respective shift Park at the rear section of our Community Market parking lot or around our drive‑through area. As parking space is limited, I encourage carpooling whenever feasible. Samuell Grand Park also has public parking for overflow and later arrivals.
