A leading global law firm with a prominent commercial real estate practice is looking for a
Real Estate Paralegal
to join its New York team. The firm advises institutional investors, developers, and lenders on complex real estate transactions, offering hands‑on work on high‑value matters and a hybrid schedule for work‑life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and NYC zoning reports; prepare summaries and identify key issues
Draft and manage title and survey documents, including objection letters, estoppel certificates, easements, and releases
Coordinate UCC, tax lien, and bankruptcy searches; prepare post‑closing deliverables and diligence summaries
Support all stages of commercial real estate transactions, including closings, purchase and sale agreements, and escrow instructions
What They’re Looking For
5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, preferably in a top‑tier or global law firm
Strong knowledge of New York real estate law, title, surveys, zoning, and commercial leases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized with multitasking abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines; paralegal certification preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
