Arlington, VA Position Overview: My client is seeking a Junior Real Estate Attorney with a strong interest in commercial real estate law to support the legal team in managing real estate transactions, particularly in relation to data centers and large-scale commercial properties. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow and gain experience in a fast-paced, technology-focused business environment. Key Responsibilities: Real Estate Transactions:

Assist with negotiating, drafting, and reviewing lease agreements, purchase agreements, and other real estate contracts related to real estate and data center sites under the guidance of senior attorneys. Lease Management:

Support the team in reviewing, revising, and negotiating lease terms for new leases, renewals, amendments, and terminations. Acquisitions and Sales:

Assist in providing legal support for property acquisitions, dispositions, and project financings, including conducting due diligence and preparing purchase agreements. Data Center Transactions:

Aid in providing legal support for the acquisition, sale, leasing, and development of data centers, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies. Compliance and Risk Management:

Help advise internal teams on local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations, including zoning, environmental regulations, and building codes. General Legal Support:

Assist in drafting legal documents and provide support on various corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, financing, and corporate governance. Document Management:

Ensure proper organization, filing, and maintenance of real estate agreements, correspondence, and other related documents. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in good standing in any state. Strong interest in commercial real estate law, with a desire to learn and grow in the field. Some exposure to commercial real estate, leases, acquisitions, or similar work through previous internships, externships, or work experience is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and learn from senior attorneys while taking on independent tasks. High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity. Must be interested in working in-office in Arlington, VA.
