Ohio Valley Waste Service Inc. seeks qualified Class A CDL drivers for local daily runs, with drivers being home every night. Essential Responsibilities: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle. Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle according to work rules and laws. Transport municipal waste or recyclables from transfer stations to disposal facilities and dispose of loads. Maintain courteous interactions with all customers. Minimum Qualifications: Possess a valid Class A CDL. Pass DOT medical exam and drug screening. Maintain CDL and DOT medical card in good standing. Subject to yearly MVR checks. Pass a road test during hiring. Provide own safety-approved work boots. Uniforms provided after probation. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and frequently push/pull.
