The

Utility Crew Foreman

plays a vital role in executing First Environmental’s mission: to fix our customers’ problems and make them happy. This position is responsible for supervising all onsite tasks while ensuring crew safety and productivity on utility installation projects.

Requirements

Acceptable past work history

Acceptable security background check

Acceptable driving record (as reviewed by insurance provider)

Pass a complete pre-employment physical exam, including DOT physical

Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, and lift repeatedly

Utility Foreman License (or willingness to obtain)

Proficient in safe operation of heavy equipment

Understanding of civil drawings and site plans

Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills

Self-starter with a positive attitude who leads by example

Ability to understand and apply safety training requirements

Duties / Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a utility crew to safely and efficiently complete projects

Operate equipment to install utilities in line with specifications and safety standards

Perform daily equipment inspections and assist with basic equipment maintenance

Accurately shoot grades and interpret civil site plans

Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager

Complete daily reports using an iPad

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and project procedures

Compensation Hourly pay, non-exempt Compensation based on experience and qualifications Eligible for overtime when applicable Benefits package available (details provided upon offer)
