LHH is seeking a full-time Commercial Real Estate Finance Paralegal to sit in our clients office in Nashville, TN. This is a fully on site position. Salary DOE but in the $70,000 range.
Key Responsibilities
Document Preparation:
Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, deeds, and easement agreements.
Due Diligence:
Order and analyze title searches, surveys, and related documents to identify and resolve potential issues before closing.
Transaction Coordination:
Oversee all phases of real estate transactions, maintaining communication with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties to ensure deadlines are met.
Closing Assistance:
Organize closing binders, prepare settlement statements, and assist attorneys in managing the closing process to ensure all legal and procedural requirements are satisfied.
Administrative Support:
Maintain case files, manage legal databases and case management software, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Compliance:
Ensure all real estate transactions adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate, preferably in a law firm, title company, or commercial lending environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with real estate legal software.
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law, contract drafting and review, and title and survey analysis.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex legal documents and resolve issues efficiently.
