Punch Press Operator

Description Punch Press Operator runs a stamping press, managing the production of stamped parts. They load coils to supply the presses and ensure that the parts meet our customers’ expectations. Press Operators work with strict deadlines and adhere to safety guidelines throughout their work. They can operate any of the press lines, showcasing their versatility and adaptability. Their role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of the presses, leading to customer satisfaction.

Job Task

Read & interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Setup stamping die & punch press line

Perform routine maintenance on equipment

Run press to produce finished parts to standards set to work order router

Perform quality checks & look for visual defects

Assure proper packaging & labels are provided

Maintain a clean & safe work environment

Qualifications

In-depth understanding of basic stamping technologies.
