Overhead Foreman . Successful candidates will possess existing experience working together as a construction crew. Preference may also be given to candidates who are able to bring along additional qualified candidates to form entire work crews. SAFETY IS A CORE VALUE FOR OUR COMPANY

All Classifications requirements Able/willing to travel long distances on short notice, when required. Able/willing to work for extended periods in various locations, when required. Able/willing to work Overtime, when required. Have total commitment to safety and compliance. Foreman: Provide direct supervision & technical guidance to Linemen, Apprentices and Groundmen performing maintenance & construction on all electrical distribution and associated equipment projects. Responsible for coordinating essential personnel on-site for the project to include crew mobilization. Communicate, demonstrate and enforce safety requirements and best practices. Possess comfort level with using new technologies (mobile devices/apps) and/or show willingness to learn. Such tools are bringing Jobsite access to improved information and efficiencies. Manage supplies, materials and equipment. Assist with planning, directing and budget activities concerned with the construction of a pole line and other electrical material and equipment used for distribution line construction projects. Read and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and scopes of work. Communicate directly with General Foremen, Superintendents, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Line Crews and other project personnel as required. Understand and follow detailed construction schedules. Possess High School Diploma or Equivalency. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and scopes of work. Able to coordinate & collaborate effectively with multiple levels within company...from fellow field professionals to back office support functions. Willing to travel and work away from home. Experience with digger derricks, bucket trucks, trenchers, and groundwork with utility crews is required. Ability to work at heights up to and above 60 feet preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate & encourage teamwork skills and able to understand, comprehend, and follow directions in the workplace. Must have a quality work ethic and be committed to optimal Customer Service. A Lineman: Be able to perform rigorous physical labor as required, including climbing, rigging, lifting, and rescue operations. Able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit. Proficient in all aspects of energized line work and blueprints interpretation. Professional demeanor; interact positively with crew, public and customers. Able to sagwire, lead crew in assembly and erection of structures to all heights, and perform hot line work when required. Operate Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick, Backhoe and other equipment as needed. Proficient in Pole/Tower Climbing and heavy lifting/rigging; understand grounding, induced voltage, PPE and cover up procedures. Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. Able to communicate, plan and lead safety discussions and tailgate briefs. B Lineman: Work safely on energized and de-energized lines; set poles and anchors according to safety policies. Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools; perform related work as required. Able to perform rigorous physical labor and learn distribution voltages and blueprints. Capable of working from an aerial device and assisting in troubleshooting; team-oriented. Able to work alone on de-energized lines; learn wire stringing, sagging, and erecting poles and basic line structures. Capable of installing all types of compression connections and working at heights/confined spaces; PPE and PPE inspection. Climb various structures and understand lineman knots; use hand lines; understand grounding and equipment setup. C Lineman: Be willing/able to maintain active enrollment in SUI apprenticeship program (HS diploma or equivalent required for enrollment). Set poles and anchors; maintain vehicles/equipment; perform related work. Rigorous physical labor; learn distribution voltages, blueprints, troubleshooting; team environment. Work from aerial devices; assist in framing and erecting poles and basic line structures. Install compression connections; work at heights/confined spaces; PPE inspection. Climb structures and know lineman knots; hazard awareness and safety briefings. Equipment Operator: Work safely on energized and de-energized overhead lines; operate heavy equipment (line/bucket trucks, knuckle cranes, digger derricks). Professional demeanor; interact positively with crew, public and customers. Stringing, setting poles and anchors; maintain vehicles/equipment; perform rigorous physical labor. Team oriented; basic rigging and tool use; grounding concepts; bucket rescue/escape. Understand equipment setup and working at heights/confined spaces; flag and tag procedures. Groundman: Assist in construction/maintenance of overhead power lines; follow directions from Crew Foreman and senior crew members. Participate in Safety, First Aid and task-specific training; perform physical labor outdoors. Maintain professional appearance and attitude; assemble materials on ground and hoist with handlines; assist with digging and trenching. Flag traffic, set up job sites, organize tools/materials; may receive training on vehicles and light equipment. Qualifications
The employee may sit; frequently climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or maneuver up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work is outdoors with exposure to weather, animals and other hazards.
