The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional to manage all aspects of the golf operation, aiming to provide members and guests with an exceptional experience. Responsibilities include managing the golf shop and outside staff, merchandising, tournament operations, teaching, planning and running clinics, junior camps and playing golf with members. We seek a passionate individual early in their career, eager to learn and contribute to re-opening a newly renovated golf course, with plenty of room for upward mobility.
Your Opportunities and Responsibilities:
Build lasting relationships with members through excellent service and hospitality, teaching, organizing events and clinics, playing golf with members, and occasional member trips, both foreign and domestic.
Develop merchandising skills by managing product ordering, receiving, displaying, and selling merchandise, with freedom to introduce new products and ideas.
Be passionate and enthusiastic about golf!
Learn from the Head Golf Professional and staff to develop professionally and personally.
Plan and execute member and non-member tournaments using strong organizational skills.
Support team collaboration to ensure operational success.
Uphold the Club’s Quality Standards & Core Values daily.
Provide golf lessons and assist in creating clinics using the club’s newly renovated practice facilities, Trackman, V1 video software, and a fitness center.
Contribute to the club’s culture and propose new ideas for improvement.
Gain management experience by overseeing the golf shop and outside staff operations.
