Rate of pay is $16-$17 per hour DOE and 15-20 hours per week. We look forward to talking with you about this wonderful opportunity!**### ### The Parkwood is a brand-new 55+ independent living community that will be opening in Sioux Falls, SD in early 2024. Using our core values of Freedom, Flexibility, and Friendship, our community seeks to design and embrace an active living community with 133 apartment homes. We will strive to be a community that offers great teamwork amongst our team where will all work together to ensure that The Parkwood remains a meaningful place for people to live and call home.### ### and find your happy place here!### ### We have a Fantastic opportunity for a **Server**to join our team! This role works with an incredible population of residents on weekdays in a fantastic environment.**Our Servers:*** Assist residents with drink selection and serve daily three-course evening meal with residents.* Confirm and share menu details to residents, answers questions and help with dinner service. Help with to go orders and meal delivery.* Works efficiently and quickly delivers food to residents, aiding them as needed.* Clears, cleans, and resets tables for next meal service.* May assist with light back of house/kitchen duties (including such tasks as salad prep, soup service, portion desserts, brew coffee or other services as needed.* Assists with clearing table and bringing dishes to dishwash area. Occasionally help with light dish duty.* Observes residents to ensure safety in our dining areas.* Performs other duties as assigned, including special events and buffets.* Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Parkwood, Transforming Age and our Affiliates.**What you need to succeed:*** Must be 18 years of age or older, will occasionally serve beer and wine.* Previous server experience highly preferred.* Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills.* Must pass a background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
