Part-time Maintenance Assistant Follow maintenance schedules and policies as directed by your supervisor. Perform routine groundskeeping and maintenance tasks, including trimming, sweeping, and cleaning. Carry out repairs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems according to established procedures. Clean windows and screens as needed. Replace light bulbs and perform cleaning duties as required. Service heating and cooling systems per manufacturer instructions and policies. Handle unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed. Requirements: Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday. Clear communication skills in English. Capability to handle mental and emotional stress. Adequate sight/hearing or prosthetics to function properly. Independence, flexibility, integrity, and effective teamwork skills. Meet health requirements including a medical and physical exam. Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and sometimes hostile individuals. Lift and carry at least 50 pounds, with assistance up to 100 pounds. Assist in emergency evacuations if necessary.
