Family Service Sales Counselor

Primary Responsibilities:
To generate sales by servicing new & current cemetery clients. To establish positive relations within the community to promote our cemetery as the premier option within the market. Specific Duties: Identify individuals who are interested in learning more about preplanning cemetery and funeral arrangements to schedule appointments to meet with them. Meet with families who have experienced a death to arrange personalized burial arrangements that create a positive impression during a difficult time. Must be empathetic and a good listener. Follow up with all families and generate new referrals. Obtain permanent record files on all sales. Personal deliveries of deeds and other legal work (obtain permanent record files & referrals). Enter all clients and new prospects with notes into CRM. Promote preplanning to affiliations of cemeteries to include, but not limited to: Family & friends of the deceased who are interred in cemetery. Community members. Organizations, associations, and churches within the community. Service all families and clients in the best possible manner.
