Caretaker or Caretaker Couple
for a treehouse resort property located 30 miles west of Austin. We are looking for property caretaker(s) in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We are an eco-friendly treehouse resort that is centered around getting people outdoors to spend time in nature. There are two full-time positions that range in responsibilities from office/customer service, maintenance/landscaping to housekeeping. Job responsibilities will be split based on applicants' work history and aptitude for each and can be individual hires or as a couple. Housing/cabin or FHU site included as well as all hours paid. RVs, vans, and skoolies are welcome! The positions start immediately. The cabin and RV sites are private and located on part of the property that is closed to guests. There are also large raised garden beds nearby that would be free to use if you enjoy gardening! Ideal candidates would be people who share our love for nature and don’t mind spending most of their day outdoors. We are a small team and are looking for like-minded individuals that are hard-working and able to jump in and help where needed. The ideal candidate(s) for these hands-on roles will have hospitality and/or housekeeping experience and general repair and maintenance abilities. The Office/Customer Service role will book reservations, answer guest inquiries via phone and e-mail, operate the property management system, coordinate contact-free guest check-in, and provide customer support while guests are on-site. The housekeeping position cleans units between guests and processes laundry. The Maintenance responsibilities include general maintenance as needed, routine scheduled grounds work, preventative maintenance, and participation in project work as needed. Our team is fast but thorough, with a strong customer relations focus. The ideal candidate is a couple with complementary housekeeping/office and maintenance abilities. Located 30 miles west of downtown Austin, Texas in Spicewood, the property currently features 5 treehouses, 7 glamping tents, a large ranch house, an event center, 2 pools, and retail sales.
