Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Service Advisor for our Weslaco Ford location. The Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with vehicle service needs, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive service environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in computer systems and software
Responsibilities
Greet customers and assist them with determining their service needs
Schedule service appointments and communicate with customers throughout the process
Advise customers on necessary services based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer recommendations
Provide estimates for services and obtain customer approval
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner
Maintain customer records and service history accurately in the system
Stay updated on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, and service procedures
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license (at least 3 consecutive years) and clean driving record
Willingness to participate in training and development opportunities
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building customer loyalty
