Position Summary The role is focused on providing exceptional customer service, maintaining equipment, and supporting the overall operations of Sam’s Club within the Tire & Battery Center (TBC) area.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with associates to fulfill sales and service requests, educate teammates on tools, tasks, and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and point‑of‑sale systems, including phone and in‑person selling techniques.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, elevate associate engagement, and use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, and training.
Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tool, and supply needs, lead tracking and monitoring of returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance, report complaints and hazards, and complete required documentation.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate the brand by valuing the members’ experience, modeling high‑quality service, developing and inspiring others, and providing respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented leadership.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and communicating progress while identifying improvement opportunities.
