Responsibilities
Assists all customers in a friendly “how can I help you?” attitude.
Answer phone calls, providing customers with price quotes and other information
Pulls and fills orders from stock.
Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locates out-of-stock parts from an outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
Prepare order for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
Continuous follow-up on back-ordered parts.
Review body shop estimates to ensure accuracy of parts needed and verify pricing.
Ensure internal parts requests are billed accurately on service repair orders.
Receive payment from customers, or obtain credit authorization.
Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Qualifications and Experience
1 year or more dealership Parts Dept experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Nothing but the best character and attitude
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, thorough and precise.
Possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
