Provide excellent customer service Assist customers with purchases and, when requested, help load purchases into their vehicles Check prices, return merchandise to shelves, and maintain store organization Collect and organize shopping carts; assist with cart retrieval from parking lot and surrounding areas Monitor and maintain cleanliness of store entrance, aisles, and restrooms Monitor store cleanliness throughout the day and restock as needed What You’ll Bring
Read and write English; interact with the public and co-workers Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos Write simple correspondence Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings Ability to follow detailed, but straightforward instructions Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds Nice to Have
Basic PC/Outlook skills Retail Management Certificate The Opportunity
The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining carts, assisting customers, checking prices, restocking shelves, and general store and parking lot maintenance. Specific Duties Include
Collect and organize shopping carts in-store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas Assist customers with loading merchandise and vehicles Check retail prices on shelves for check stand personnel Return go-backs to proper shelves; face and tidy merchandise on aisles Maintain cleanliness of the store entrance and restrooms; sweep, mop, and dispose of trash as needed Equal Employment Opportunity
