About the Role This role blends client‑facing consultancy with strategic oversight of implementation. You'll guide clients through optimization roadmaps, present strategic recommendations, and monitor performance to ensure continuous improvement. We especially welcome candidates with agency or brand‑side experience who understand the nuances of e‑commerce optimization, have led strategy in redesign or retainer projects, and can demonstrate measurable impact on client KPIs.
What You'll be Working on
Lead comprehensive store audits covering analytics, usability, UX design, merchandising, and messaging & offer and create professional quality reports.
Translate findings into actionable tasks (Full Spec Documentation) with deep understanding of Shopify's features and limitations.
Stay ahead of Shopify platform updates, new features, and ecosystem developments, advising clients on relevant opportunities.
Develop comprehensive 3-6 month optimization roadmap tailored to each client and monitor the implementation of initiatives to ensure execution aligns with vision.
Run discovery workshops, strategy presentations, and quarterly business reviews to maintain strong client engagement.
Create a backlog of A/B testing ideas, set up tests on behalf of clients, and monitor and share the learnings with broader teams.
Document Full Spec Requirements
About You
4–6 years of experience in eCommerce strategy, with at least 2–3 years specifically focused on Shopify.
Deep knowledge of eCommerce best practices including conversion optimization, user experience, customer journey design, and emerging DTC trends
Strong technical understanding of the Shopify features and key integrations (Klaviyo, Subscriptions, A/B Testing)
Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, with experience working effectively across design, development, project managers.
Strong data interpretation and analysis capabilities, comfortable working with Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, MS Clarity and other analytics tools to derive actionable insights from data.
Confident presenting strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders and defending strategic choices
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining high standards of delivery
Experience designing, implementing, or analyzing A/B tests and multivariate experiments (or strong willingness to learn)
