Duties Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis Draft legal documents, including pleadings, and motions Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings Prepare and file legal documents with the appropriate courts and government agencies Provide legal advice and guidance to clients Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on case strategy Represent the firm in various activities outside the office
Experience Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to any state bar association Previous experience working as an associate attorney or in a similar legal role is a plus Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and protocols Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis Experience in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts Litigation experience is preferred but not required
