Job Summary Liliput is looking for a lead climber foreperson with at least 3 years of climbing experience. This position will ensure the highest standards of tree care and client satisfaction. Liliput is dedicated to preserving the health and beauty of trees in our community. We are committed to safety, quality, and industry-leading craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.

Provide proficient rope and saddle climbing, bucket truck operation, areal lift operations, chipper operation, onsite safety protocols, pruning, rigging, and A300 standards for tree care operations.

Exercise extensive knowledge of tree species, pruning practices, identification of hazards and defects and ability to safely navigate them; in particular, palm trees.

Plan and execute tree maintenance, removal, and planting projects.

Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for tree care services.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional client service.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and safety inspections.

Maintain equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree climbing and arbor care.

Strong knowledge of tree biology, diseases, pests, structural issues, treatment methods, and proper pruning techniques.

Proficiency in the use of climbing equipment and techniques.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Certified Arborist credentials from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Preferred.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in arboriculture.

Proficient record-keeping and documentation.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
