Pipe Tester - HQ Final Assembly

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking Pipe Testers to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will use a torque wrench to test steel pipes. This position is available on first shift.**Benefits:*** Weekly Pay* Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance* 401(k) with a generous company match* Free Basic Life Insurance* Short & Long-Term Disability**Schedule:** 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary**Location:** 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263**Responsibilities:*** Climb ladders* Use a torque wrench on up to 700 lbs of steel pipe* Handle material* Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies* Work in a fast-paced team environment**Education Requirements/Qualifications:*** Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required* Minimum of a high school education or equivalent* Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred**Job Requirements/Special Skills:*** Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish required* Ability to read a tape measure required* Ability to read blueprints preferred* Ability to work independently and on a team* Strong verbal communication skills* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs* Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift* Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time* Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels #J-18808-Ljbffr
