The Auto Body Technician provides exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer’s vehicle to restore it back to pre‑accident condition. Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use cutting tools to repair vehicle sections. Repair dents, apply filler resins, and realign car chassis and frames. Remove damaged sections, replace parts, and repair glass and windshields. Replace or repair interior parts, weld parts, and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified paint. Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer. Required Skills/Abilities
Read job orders and work with little supervision. Work with other repairers in an auto body shop. Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies. Use trade tools required for the work. Other Requirements
Safely work in a noisy area with many odors. Lift up to 30 pounds at times. Visually inspect vehicle damage in varying weather conditions. Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections. Benefits
