About the Company The Sagamore Club, located in Noblesville, IN, is a private 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course recognized as one of the top courses in the state. It offers a full-service clubhouse, including locker rooms, dining areas, a bar, pools, fitness center, and tennis courts. The club prides itself on a casual, resort-style atmosphere and has received numerous awards.
Role Overview A Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Certification in culinary arts or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of restaurant practices and cooking methods.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively in a team.
Availability to work nights and weekends.
Key Duties
Preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, desserts, and snacks.
Plating food according to the chef’s guidance.
Collaborating with servers to ensure timely and accurate orders.
Cleaning kitchen and utensils, and storing equipment.
Adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
Reporting to the executive chef and following instructions.
Maintaining cleanliness of prep areas and managing leftovers.
Stocking inventory and supplies.
