
Sales Trainee – Account Sales Manager Preparation
This training role prepares a Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager role. The ST supports sales initiatives, provides route coverage for the ASM during vacation, sickness, injury, or special projects, and maintains customer relationships across all Red Bull off‑premise stores.
Key Responsibilities
Training
Participate in the training program and become eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager roles.
After completion, remain in the ST role up to 12 months or until a qualified role is available, whichever comes first.
If no suitable role is available, may be eligible for a 6‑month extension based on performance.
ST is an at‑will position; either party can terminate at any time.
Business Acumen
Understand Red Bull products and brand, ensuring proper rotation and brand flow.
Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to drive sales.
Daily Preparation
Obtain all tools (insights, displays, POS, pricing, etc.) to execute the daily plan.
Communicate priorities to ASMs/DSMs.
Train with ASMs.
In-Route Support
Execute global strategy for in‑store execution measured by Winning vs Competition and Perfect Store Audit.
Cover ASM routes as needed; meet daily KPIs—sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, merchandising.
Off‑Route Support
Assist with audits, blitz, display building, and merchandising to drive sales business.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid US driver’s license and DOT medical card.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Prior experience in customer service and sales is a plus.
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory/display.
English proficiency; additional languages an advantage.
