Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of launcher systems, subassemblies, and components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and process documents.
Route, secure, and terminate electrical wiring harnesses and cable assemblies using aerospace-grade materials and methods (lacing, tie wraps, clamps, protective sleeving).
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness installation drawings to ensure proper cable routing and connections.
Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity checks to verify integrity of wiring installations.
Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and torquing of structural components and fasteners to aerospace standards.
Maintain accurate assembly records and inspection documentation for traceability.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology preferred.
3+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or heavy-vehicle assembly.
Strong understanding of wire routing, cable harness installation, and electrical integration practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, torque wrenches, and test meters used for aerospace assembly.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and complete production paperwork accurately.
U.S. citizenship and compliance with ITAR/EAR export control regulations required.
