Overview

PetSmart is hiring for the Pet Bather role. Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification program. Support the pet parent experience in person, over the phone, and at the sales register. Greet pet parents, answer questions, and assist with salon reservations. Handle check-in and check-out procedures. Independently perform full menu of bath and brush services and standalone services (e.g., nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services) per PetSmart’s bathing standards. Share health and wellness recommendations with pet parents based on each pet’s needs. Maintain a safe environment for associates, pets, and pet parents. Take immediate action if a sick/injured pet is identified; arrange transport to the vet as needed. Recommend, inform, and sell merchandise and services. Maintain store cleanliness standards; assist in other departments as required. Participate in PetSmart’s culture of Belonging and Recognition. Follow all Company Policies and Procedures. Qualifications

Proficiency in computer applications. Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure. Flexibility in schedule; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment

Stand, walk, climb a ladder; use hands to handle, feel, hold, write; frequent reaching with hands and arms; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch; depth perception required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally team lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Work may include exposure to moving parts, a wet environment with pet hair, and varying noise levels. Exposure to live animals is common. Additional Information
