Collections Specialist

Compensation $22 - $28/hour
What You'll Do
Manage and reconcile an assigned portfolio, ensuring invoices, payments, and credits are accurate.
Conduct proactive outreach to customers with 30+ day past due balances; maintain detailed call logs.
Distribute statements, invoices, and dunning notices via NetSuite.
Research and resolve discrepancies, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Prepare and submit complete credit memo packages; elevate complex issues promptly.
Monitor aging reports and provide weekly updates on top accounts.
Support cash application by validating and processing payments in real time.
What You Need
5+ years' Collections/AR experience (no personal collections).
Advanced Excel and NetSuite expertise required.
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
Professional, polished demeanor and the ability to manage competing priorities.
