A mission-focused organization is seeking a
Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA) – Level 3
to support national security and cyber intelligence operations. This position requires strong analytical, technical, and cyber exploitation skills to assess and exploit digital networks and systems. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate target networks using all-source data to map infrastructure and support exploitation and operational planning.
Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data across the OSI model, including physical and logical IP infrastructure.
Understand and assess communication devices, network connectivity, and traffic flows to develop actionable insights.
Contribute to the development of new tradecraft and analytical techniques to meet evolving technologies and mission needs.
Work collaboratively with military, government, and contractor teams to address intelligence priorities and operational challenges.
Query, merge, enrich, and evaluate large data sets to support hypothesis-driven analysis.
Document findings, methodologies, and new tradecraft in a clear and contextualized format for team and stakeholder consumption.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
A degree in
Computer Science
is preferred.
Degrees in related fields (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered if the program includes coursework in core CS areas such as:
Algorithms
Computer Architecture (not network architecture)
Programming Methodologies and Languages
Data Structures
Logic and Computation
Advanced Mathematics (e.g., calculus, discrete math)
Degrees in Information Technology (IT) or Information Security (IS) may be considered with appropriate CS-related coursework.
Relevant Experience: Experience may include roles in:
Systems or software design and development
Programming
Cybersecurity and vulnerability analysis
Penetration testing
Network/system administration
Computer forensics
Systems engineering
Information assurance
Completion of military cyber training (e.g.,
JCAC – Joint Cyber Analysis Course ) may be credited toward experience requirements (e.g., 24-week JCAC = 6 months of experience).
Experience Requirements (Based on Education Level): To qualify as a
Level 3 Digital Network Exploitation Analyst , candidates must meet one of the following:
PhD
+ 4 years of relevant experience
Master’s degree
+ 6 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree
+ 8 years of relevant experience
Associate degree
+ 10 years of relevant experience
Compensation:
Annual Base Salary Range:
$149,000 – $177,000 (USD)
This range does
not
include discretionary bonuses or the full benefits package.
Final compensation is based on experience, education, skills, location, and other factors.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
