General Job Description Salary is very competitive and based on experience and productivity.

Full‑time position: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 4 pm.

Duties And Responsibilities

Preparing and managing bids for single and multi‑family residential projects (typically 100+ units).

Knowledge and understanding of residential electric construction practices and installation according to building codes.

Take‑offs and estimation of equipment, labor, and materials according to builder’s specifications and bidding tools.

Experience in obtaining and evaluating material, direct labor, manufactured equipment pricing and subcontractor quotes.

Writing proposals/bids.

Managing multiple bids simultaneously and evaluating changes through the bid process.

Evaluation of plans, looking for discrepancies and addressing them accordingly.

Participate in contract negotiations with clients involving scope of work, estimated quantities, and values.

Assist purchasing agent in procurement of equipment; all pricing must meet contracted costs.

Sense of urgency with ability to meet guidelines.

Education And Experience

Experience on single and multi‑family residential projects.

Ability to communicate with installers, builders, building inspectors, and homeowners about installation methods and code.

Possess leadership qualities and the ability to be a self‑starter.

Ability to multi‑task.

Five years in the electrical trade preferred.

Skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

Ability to accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment, and labor.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic computer skills with Excel competency.

Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.

Team player.

Attention to detail.

Dependable and punctual.
