Are you an experienced Diesel Mechanic looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a company that values its employees? Veltri, Inc., a trusted name in transportation for over 49 years, is expanding its maintenance team in Logan Township & Dayton, NJ.
Shifts Available 2nd Shift
Locations
Dayton, NJ - 3:00 pm to 1:30 am / 4 - 10 Hour Shift / Tuesday To Saturday or Sunday to Thursday / On the road service truck / Central Jersey
What You’ll Do
Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty tractors and trailers
Have PA inspection certification
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and state/federal inspections
Diagnose and repair mechanical, air & hydraulic brake, tire, and wheel issues
Handle on-site repairs and road calls as needed
Utilize company-provided shop tools and service truck
Work independently with accuracy and efficiency
Provide excellent service to our drivers and customers.
What You Bring
Experience with diesel engines, heavy-duty vehicles, and preventive maintenance
Own set of tools (required)
Valid CDL A preferred or B license —or willingness to obtain one
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
