About the Role As the Global Head of Organic Social and Influencer Marketing, you will lead our global social-first strategy and operations spanning 11+ marketplaces and nearly 50 social media channels. Reporting to the Global Head of Brand and Content Marketing, you will oversee measurable business results through innovative social strategies aligned with our team's strategic pillars: strengthening our global brand, driving audience-obsessed content discovery, and embedding cultural relevance through community building.

You will manage a world-class team encompassing critical functions including influencer marketing, social video strategy, global social intelligence, community management, and campaign strategy.

As an Global Head of Social Marketing, you will:

Spearhead the evolution and implementation of the Global Social-First Strategy within the broader Brand & Content Marketing team across TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

Steer the creation of entertaining content that consistently generates strong organic reach on platforms, with an emphasis on speed-to-market and relevance.

Demonstrate direct correlation between social-first activities and revenue impact.

Achieve measurable KPIs: audience growth, engagement rate, clicks to Audible, and community management.

Balance creative insight with quantitative analysis when testing bold ideas and innovative approaches.

Champion early integration of social-first thinking within all marketing initiatives, ensuring these perspectives inform campaign development from inception rather than execution.

Partner with Product, Content Marketing, Brand, and Customer Service teams.

Champion AI adoption throughout social operations to accelerate trend identification, content testing, and performance optimization while maintaining authentic human connection.

Establish two-way conversation frameworks that transform followers into active community members who feel ownership in the Audible brand.

Activate fandoms around priority content launches and partnerships, creating integrated social campaigns that build discovery and sustained engagement.

Build a community of audiobook narrators as brand ambassadors, helping develop their personal brands as extensions of the Audible ecosystem.

Qualifications

5+ years of team management experience.

Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent.

10+ years of experience in social-first marketing.

Portfolio of creative social media work showcasing campaigns that have resonated in culture, articulated clear concepts, and driven business growth.

Experience developing and implementing global platform strategies that deliver measurable business growth.

Experience using social media analytics and performance measurement.

Experience integrating AI and data-driven approaches into social media marketing and workflows to enhance team productivity, content performance, and strategic decision-making.
