who will bridge the gap between data and design. They will translate performance insights into creative briefs and strategies that drive growth, build brand recall, and motivate the target audience to take action.

Role Overview The

Performance Creative Strategist

is a highly analytical, insights-driven storyteller who sits at the intersection of brand, growth, creative, and sales operations. You’ll act as the intake lead for all creative and messaging needs related to Sales/Growth. This role requires partnering closely with designers, copywriters, and marketers to ensure every asset is grounded in performance data and optimized for results.

In this role, you’ll own the feedback loop between creative and performance: analyzing what works across DTC, paid ads, and Amazon, translating those learnings into actionable briefs, and guiding teams toward higher-performing creative. You’ll also serve as a bridge between U.S. and China teams, ensuring our creative is localized, culturally relevant, and globally consistent — while policing the brand across every sales touchpoint to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy & Performance Insights

Serve as the bridge between creative and growth, translating performance data into actionable creative strategies and briefs.

In collaboration with team leads, continuously analyze campaign results (CTR, CVR, ROAS, etc.) across DTC, paid social, email, and Amazon to identify winning messages, formats, and creative angles.

Develop hypotheses, test plans, and creative experiments, and partner with Growth Team and designers to bring those ideas to life.

Share clear, data-backed creative recommendations with stakeholders to inform future campaigns and creative.

Creative Intake & Workflow Leadership

Act as the intake point for performance creative requests across marketing and sales.

Translate complex business needs and market goals into creative briefs that align with brand voice, performance goals, and channel best practices.

Manage the creative pipeline, prioritize projects, and ensure clear communication between sales ops, brand, and design.

Brand Stewardship & Sales Channel Policing

Own brand consistency across all sales touchpoints, including DTC site, Amazon storefront and listings, retail partner assets, and promotional materials.

Audit and review creative assets, messaging, and product detail pages to ensure they adhere to brand standards, voice, and visual identity.

Partner with sales ops and marketplace teams to flag and correct off-brand or outdated creative quickly and proactively.

Serve as the brand’s “quality gatekeeper” — ensuring every asset in-market reinforces Petlibro’s positioning and meets performance objectives.

Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in creative strategy, growth marketing, or performance-driven brand marketing (DTC, e-commerce, or consumer tech preferred).

Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret performance data and translate it into creative hypotheses and recommendations.

Deep understanding of how creative and messaging drive results across paid social, DTC websites, and Amazon.

Demonstrated experience writing creative briefs, working cross-functionally with design and marketing teams, and managing feedback loops.

Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) — required.

Willingness to work evening hours to collaborate with Shenzhen teams.

Excellent communication, prioritization, and project management skills.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.

Proficiency with creative and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Amazon Ads, Figma).
