Our client is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage all aspects of maintenance operations at their manufacturing facility. This role requires prior leadership experience in maintenance, a strong understanding of plant equipment and reliability, and a proactive approach to team management and equipment uptime. A four‑year degree is not required—proven leadership and technical ability are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure minimal downtime and efficient performance of machinery and equipment.
Lead, develop, and coach a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
Implement and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to support production goals.
Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a maintenance leadership role (Supervisor, Superintendent, or similar).
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and PLC‑driven systems.
Experience in any manufacturing environment—industry flexibility will be considered.
Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and team performance.
