Description
We are looking for an experienced full‑time paralegal for a plaintiff's personal injury law firm that focuses on cases involving serious injury and death.
We would prefer someone who can work on location to build teammate collaboration and ensure adequate onboarding, but we are open to hybrid work depending on the candidate's experience and other circumstances.
Our law firm has an established statewide practice representing people injured by motor vehicle collisions, hospitals, nursing homes, and defective products.
Candidates should be comfortable with client contact, drafting correspondence, reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preparing discovery requests and responses, tracking documents produced and received in discovery, doing internet and social media research, making public records requests, electronic filing, assisting with PIP claims, assisting with lien resolution, and trial preparation.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of PI paralegal experience required.
Experience: personal injury law – 2 years (required); paralegal or legal assistant – 5 years (required).
Experienced using Word, Word Perfect, and Adobe Acrobat and interested in learning new technologies.
Smart, kind, conscientious, hard‑working, ethical, and willing to help colleagues when needed.
