Position Summary This role supports the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) by providing exceptional service and sales experience to members while maintaining a safe, organized and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks and resources, and mentor new technicians.
Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations and TPMS.
Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory.
Report safety hazards and issues, complete paperwork, logs and required documentation, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored per company policies.
Assist members with purchasing decisions, resolve issues and concerns, and act as a brand advocate for high‑quality service.
Execute business processes in accordance with company policies, data, and resources while identifying priorities, deadlines and improvement opportunities.
Build strong and trusting relationships, mentor others, and foster a culture of belonging and high performance.
Maintain high standards of integrity, ethics and compliance, and support Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company.
Deliver results while putting the customer first, balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities and ensuring team effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvements by using new technologies and skills and supporting others through change.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry experience.
Retail experience.
